1. Observation at junctions – ineffective or bad observation and judgment. What is the different between an open and closed junction and how would you approach a closed junction?
2. Reverse Parking – ineffective observation and/or lack of accuracy. Why is it important to check your blind spot?
3. Use of Mirrors – not checking often enough, and/or not acting on the information What are you checking for when looking at your mirror: (a) as you turn left, (b) as you turn right (c) as you approach a hazard?
4. Reversing Round a Corner – ineffective observation and/or lack of accuracy. What might cause lack of accuracy whilst reversing around a corner?
5. Incorrect use of Signals – giving misleading signals, or forgetting to cancel them. Forgetting to cancel your signal can be misleading because?
6. Moving away Safely – ineffective observation. Where should you look before moving away?
7. Incorrect Positioning on the Road – particularly at roundabouts and on bends. You are taking the second exit which is at 11 O'clock, why would it be dangerous to be on the right lane?
8. Lack of Steering Control – steering too early or too late. How can this effect other drivers?
9. Incorrect Position for turning right – at junctions or one-way streets. You are turning right at a one-way street, where should you be positioned?
10. Inappropriate Speed – driving too slowly or too quickly. Why is it dangerous to go too slow?
